Evan joined SHM in October, 1996 as Vice President of Sales and Marketing and in November 1999 was named to his current position. With over 30 years of experience in the Hotel and Hospitality Industries, Evan has served in nearly every property-level position and has supervised the opening of countless hotels.
Formerly the Regional Vice President of Operations and Sales/Marketing for Vista Host, a Houston-based hotel management company, Studer began his career with Winegardner & Hammons, Inc., a hotel franchisee and operating company and earned a B.S. degree in mathematics from Eastern Kentucky University.
Since 2000, John has had direct responsibility for the Sales & Marketing efforts at SHM. With 28 years of experience in the hotel industry he has earned the reputation as a creative outside the lines entrepreneur. John has a proven track record for delivering results and outperforming his competitors.
